snippet: The City Task Force Areas Layer is the officially recognized City Neighborhood Task Force areas. These areas were defined initially through HUD, but recently the City has allowed some areas to establish their own task force areas (e.g., Rimrock and Midtown). The City supports these neighborhoods with minimal funding annually to help with mailings, etc. Most of these task forces have been around for a long time, and some are newer. The boundaries were created by information provided by HUD/Census (low-income areas), that specific task force, what they felt their area is, and some by natural/man-made delineators, rims, ditches, arterials, etc.
